The Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, Ciracas, East Jakarta has noted that as many as 185 AKAP buses have undergone ramp checks ahead of Idul Fitri exodus from Monday (3/31) to Sunday (4/9).

He explained the ramp checks carried out by officers ranging from vehicle administration such as Control Cards (KP) to Vehicle Test Certificates (STUK), and Vehicle Number Certificates (STNK) to driver's licenses (SIM).
Then a physical inspection of the vehicle such as the condition of the glass, wipers, tires, steering wheel, brakes, and equipment in the vehicle such as a portable fire extinguisher (APAR) and a glass breaker. Then, check the vehicle's emergency exit to ensure it is in good working condition.
During the ramp checks period, vehicles that failed the ramp checks still have the opportunity to make repairs.
However, when the ramp check is held from Friday (4/14) to Tuesday (5/2), those that do not comply with the regulations or are not operationally feasible will be subject to strict sanctions.
"Hopefully when entering the terminal, the administration must be complete and in proper condition with completeness according to the regulations," he asserted.
